Frequently Asked Questions
Can Bundles be shared?
Yes. Bundles can be shared, used as gifts, or used in any number of ways. You may gift your charters to a friend, family member, client, etc. You can share with as many people as you like. You can also combine Bundle days for bigger and better charter experiences (overnight, multi-day, and term charters). Friends and family will still have to create an account and follow the required steps to book per federal law. All charterers are required to bring a government-issued photo ID to check in at the vessel's boarding location.
Can I use bundles for multiple boats?
No. Bundles are only applicable to a single boat. You are buying 3, 5, or 10 charters on a single boat. If you wish to use multiple boats, or boats in different locations, we suggest you purchase a YachtPass instead.

Where are the yachts located?
The yachts are located in 25+ destinations across North America, as well as several new international destinations like Dubai. All yachts are already in the water at a Marina or a Private dock. You will be given access to the yacht for the day of your experience and assistance with provisions if needed. Our fleet is constantly growing and improving so we will update you monthly on nearby additions and new markets as we expand.

Each boat has a profile page that displays the general location of the vessel. Exact location details are provided after a booking is confirmed.

Who cleans & maintains the yachts?
By booking through Anchor, all of the cleaning, refueling, and maintenance are provided--so you don't need to worry about a thing. You just hop on, have a great day, and hop off. All of the upside of yachting and none of the headache!

Where can we take the yachts?
During the time you are on board, the world is your oyster. If you have a specific destination in mind, please tell us ahead of time so we can dispatch a Captain/Crew that knows the destination. This will ultimately save you time and money if there are any fees or laws that may prevent entry. As a Bundle holder, you are still a charterer bound by the local and federal laws on and off the water.

How do I know when the yachts are available?
Availability can be found online--each boat has a dedicated calendar that you can check in real-time by visiting the boat's listing page on Anchor's website. As a Bundle holder, you can lock in your dates as soon as you pay, or you can choose to wait and pick a date in the future before your bundle expires. Keep in mind that if you wait, the boat may be booked by another customer--no refunds or credits are given in this scenario. It is your responsibility to book the boat as early as possible to avoid missing availability.

Can I purchase additional time as needed?
With Bundles, you are given a discount additional time as well. Additional hours will be discounted by 15% of list price only.

What happens if the boat is no longer available?
It is possible (although extremely rare) that the boat you select for your Bundle could incur major mechanical or physical damage OR simply be sold.

If for any reason the boat you selected becomes unavailable for an extended period of time (30 days or more), Anchor will make best efforts to find a similar boat, in a nearby location, and at a similar price point. It is our goal to match the pricing and quality as closely as possible. In the event, there is no reasonable match, Anchor will refund the remaining unused portion of your Bundle based on the invoice paid.
Each case will be evaluated on it's own merit.
Who can I bring with me?
Family. Friends. Clients. Anyone you want. Most yachts are certified to hold up to 12 passengers + You + Captain + Crew. Every vessel owner sets their passenger capacity and passenger capacities must be followed per federal law. Be sure to check the capacity of the boat or yacht you select before payment.

Who is responsible for fuel?
Fuel is included on the vast majority of our yachts. In some markets, typically inland lakes, fuel is an additional charge. Prepaid fuel is included in most day charter experiences.
On non-local, multi-day trips, the Prepaid Fuel amount will be deducted from your bill. You will pay for the fuel you use as it will likely exceed the local cruising fuel charges.

Is financing available?
Financing is not currently available for this program. Funds must be available at the time of your subscription. We require an ACH Credit or Wire to secure any Bundle.

Can I cancel my Bundle at any time?
No. Bundles are non-refundable. The only time a full or partial refund may apply is if the boat you selected becomes unavailable for an extended period of time (30 days or more) and hinders your ability to reserve the boat.
In any case where the boat becomes unavailable for 30 days or more and hinders your ability to book the boat, you will be given alternative boat options offered by Anchor. If a comparable and similar boat is available, you will be able to book that boat. If no reasonably comparable boat is available, you may be partially or fully refunded depending on the situation.

Will Anchor be adding more yachts to the program?
Anchor is adding new yachts every day! We are adding boats and yachts of many sizes, age, features, and amenities. Our goal is to have a global fleet of privately-owned boats & yachts.
Your Bundle is limited to the cities we have available on our site and will include any new vessels added in perpetuity.

Can I try before I buy?
Yes. If you would like to try a boat before buying a Bundle, you can charter the boat at full retail price. The full price excursion will not be discounted in the future or credited to your Bundle if you decide to purchase a Bundle later.

Can I stay on the yacht overnight?
Yes. There are additional fees when staying overnight. Each vessel has it's own overnight and multi-day pricing. If you wish to use a Bundle for a multi-day trip,

What is different about overnight / multi-day?
Overnights are when you charter the boat for a full day (8 hours) and sleep overnight. Multi-Day use is when you want to use the yacht 2 or more days in a row and stay overnight in the meantime.
This is allowed, however, there are some additional costs you'll want to consider; increased rates for the Captain/Crew, docking fees, linens turn-service, etc. should all be considered beyond the scope of day rate pricing. Again, Anchor is happy to accommodate any of your needs/requests and will always advise you when an additional fee is required.
It is also worth noting that the sleeping capacity of a vessel is typically less than the daily charter capacity. For example, a vessel may allow a maximum of 13 guests for day charter, but only have beds to sleep a maximum of 6 guests.
